Australian Construction Training Services (ACTS) is endorsed by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) as a TRA Approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO). TRA is the Australian Government Organisation that is responsible for the Skills Assessment of people with trade skills gained overseas or in Australia, for the purpose of migration and skills recognition.

As a Registered Training Organisation, ACTS and its consortia member Engineering Training Australia (ETA) conduct assessments in accordance with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) for applicants seeking to have their skills and knowledge assessed towards a nationally recognised Australian trade qualification.

ACTS are able to provide Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for a large range of qualifications. In fact, ACTS and its Consortia member Engineering Training Australia have been providing skills assessments for the past fourteen (14) years to thousands of clients across Australia and the world.

Our History

ACTS was developed to assist Tradespeople gain recognition for their chosen trades. We recognised that many people did not hold qualifications in their chosen trade for many different reasons. ACTS and subsequently ETA set about trying to change this by recognising people’s skills in a unique way. This process is known as Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Fourteen (14) years on, ACTS and ETA are the leading RTOs for Recognition for the trade industries throughout Australia. ACTS partners with the leading associations and businesses in the Construction and Engineering industries, and is at the forefront of skills recognition for licencing purposes.
