Australian Construction Training Services (ACTS) Visa Skills is endorsed by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) as a TRA Approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO). TRA is the Australian Government Organisation that is responsible for the Skills Assessment of people with trade skills gained overseas or in Australia, for the purpose of migration and skills recognition.
As a Registered Training Organisation, ACTS and its consortia member Engineering Training Australia (ETA) conduct assessments in accordance with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) for applicants seeking to have their skills and knowledge assessed towards a nationally recognised Australian trade qualification.
ACTS was developed to assist Tradespeople gain recognition for their chosen trades. We recognised that many people did not hold qualifications in their chosen trade for many different reasons. ACTS and subsequently ETA set about trying to change this by recognising people’s skills in a unique way. This process is known as Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
